Working draft — the wording has not yet been approved by the operator or by a lawyer.
Terms and conditions
These terms apply to a vehicle inspection booked through this site. They are written for the ordinary customer — that is, for a consumer booking an inspection outside their business.
Who provides the service
The CarInspect service is provided by CARINSPECT s. r. o., Dvojrad 348/28, 930 25 Vrakúň, IČO 57 185 972, Obchodný register Okresného súdu Trnava, oddiel Sro, vložka č. 60534/T.
The provider is not registered for value added tax.

What you are booking
An independent vehicle inspection to the extent of the package you choose. The technician comes to the agreed place, examines the vehicle and hands you a report with the findings.
The inspection is an expert opinion on the condition of the vehicle at the time and place of the inspection. It does not replace the roadworthiness or emissions test, it is not an expert’s report and it is not a warranty for the vehicle — that is given by the seller, not by us. A fault that did not show at the time of the inspection and could not be found by ordinary means is not a defect in our service.
What exactly you receive depends on the package you choose — the outputs are listed with each package in the price list. We send the documents to you as PDFs by e-mail.
Prices
| Package | Price |
|---|---|
| STANDARD, OPTIMAL START | 120.00 € |
| PREMIUM VERIFIED STANDARD | 169.00 € |
| EV & HYBRID, PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE | 249.00 € |
| Battery measurement — FLASH | 79.00 € |
| Battery measurement — PREMIUM | 139.00 € |
The call-out is added to the package price according to the distance: up to 50 km it is free, 50–80 km costs 15.00 €, 80–120 km costs 25.00 €. Over 120 km the price is agreed individually — we will come back to you with a specific figure before we set off anywhere.
All prices in the price list are final. The provider is not registered for VAT, so no tax is added and you pay exactly the amount shown.
The price worked out by the calculator on the site is indicative until we confirm the time with you. If it turned out on site that the scope is different from what the booking suggested, we will tell you beforehand and agree it with you — we charge you nothing without an agreement.
How a booking is made
By submitting the form you are proposing a time to us, not placing a binding order. The contract only comes into being when we confirm the time to you by telephone or email. Until that moment you pay nothing and nothing binds you.
What we need from you
- that the vehicle is at the agreed place at the agreed time and can be reached,
- the consent of the vehicle owner to the inspection, if the vehicle is not yours,
- access to the vehicle documents, if the legal history is to be assessed as well.
Payment
You can pay in cash, by card or by bank transfer. We will tell you when payment is due when we confirm the inspection time — that is, before the contract comes into being. If that does not suit you, no contract is made and you pay nothing.
Cancelling and rescheduling
Until we have confirmed the time, you can cancel or change the booking at any time free of charge — just call or write. You can cancel or reschedule a confirmed time free of charge up to 24 hours before the inspection. If we arrive at the agreed place and you or the vehicle are not there, we charge 50.00 € for the call-out. This does not affect your right to withdraw from the contract (next section).
Withdrawal from the contract
Because you are booking the service at a distance, under § 20(1)(a) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason.
One thing to watch out for, which concerns almost everyone with an inspection: if you expressly ask us to come before that 14-day period runs out, and we carry the inspection out in full, the right to withdraw from the contract under § 19(1)(a) of the same Act ceases to exist. That is why we will ask you about it expressly before the inspection and record your answer.
Send us your withdrawal by post to CARINSPECT s. r. o., Dvojrad 348/28, 930 25 Vrakúň or by e-mail to objednavky@carinspect.sk (§ 20(6) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll.). You may use the model form in Annex 2 to that Act; in Directive 2011/83/EU it reads in English: “To: CARINSPECT s. r. o., Dvojrad 348/28, 930 25 Vrakúň, objednavky@carinspect.sk — I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract for the provision of the following service: … — Ordered on/received on: … — Name of consumer(s): … — Address of consumer(s): … — Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): … — Date: …” Delete as appropriate.
Complaints
If you think the inspection was not carried out properly, get in touch as soon as you can — on +421 908 84 08 95 or +421 919 49 19 59 or at objednavky@carinspect.sk. We will accept the complaint, give you confirmation of it and deal with it within the statutory period.
The detailed procedure — where to send a complaint, what to put in it and the deadlines in which we settle it — is in the separate Complaints procedure, linked in the footer of this website.
Where to turn if we cannot agree
Supervision over compliance with consumer rights is exercised by Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority). The competent inspectorate is the one for the place where the provider has its registered office.
The locally competent body is Slovak Trade Inspection, Inspectorate for the Trnava Region (Inšpektorát SOI pre Trnavský kraj), Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava 1, tel. 033/321 25 27 (the SOI Inspectorate for the Trnava Region).
A dispute can also be resolved out of court under Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on alternative resolution of consumer disputes. The proposal is filed with an entity from the list kept by the ministry, for example: Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (Slovak Trade Inspection Authority), ústredný inšpektorát (central inspectorate), Odbor pre medzinárodné vzťahy a alternatívne riešenie spotrebiteľských sporov (Department of International Relations and Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution), Bajkalská 21/A, p. p. 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27, e-mail ars@soi.sk or adr@soi.sk.
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so we no longer refer to it.
Final provisions
The relationship between you and the provider is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. We may change these terms; for a booking that has already been confirmed, the wording in force on the day it was confirmed always applies.
How we handle your personal data is described on the Personal data protection page.
Wording as of 3 October 2026.
